Commerce International & Developpement Ly Van Inc. (CIDLI) is a company of services founded in 1991.
Mr. Ly Van Phi, founder of CIDLI Group, is a Vietnamese businessman who immigrated to Canada with his family in 1976. Mr. Ly, based in Montréal, worked with various companies as coordinator and consultant for numerous international projects between Canada and other countries. During those years, he acquired precious knowledge on international transactions and government affairs.
In 1986, in virtue of his expertise and despite Vietnam's inaccessibility to foreign economy at that time, Mr. Ly began to penetrate the Vietnamese market and establish business relationships in various areas of economic activities. He conducted business in the following activities as: an expert on international business, a consultant for planning Vietnam's economic Developpement, an advisor for International Trading, Investment, Fund Transmitted and Technology Transfers. As Mr. Ly's business activities cover a wide range of economic sectors, his business relationships expanded both to North and South Vietnam.
From 1986 to 1991, Mr. Ly's international projects grew continuously as his clients remained faithful, satisfied with his services and the benefits they drew from them.
In 1991, Mr. Ly decided to devote his entire time to the projects at hand and thus founded Commerce International & Developpement Ly Van Inc., a corporation with shared capital, incorporated on February 27th 1991 under the Canada Corporation's Act. CIDLI's head office in located in Montréal with divisions in Vietnam and Thailand. The Board of Directors is composed of the following members: Mr. Ly Van Phi, president; Mr. Robin V. T. Ly, Vice President and Mrs. Joanne T. N. P. Ly, Secretary. Vietnam's activities are supervised by Terence V. H. Ly, Director of International Projects and Investments, and Thailand's activities by Mr. Taniwat Koprasertsak, Vice Chairman & Commercial Representative.
